Kozarev Meets with Newly Appointed Ambassador of Spain
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Dušan Kozarev met today with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Serbia, Ander Ruiz de Gopegui Aramburu.
The meeting reaffirmed the traditionally good relations between the two countries, founded on mutual understanding between their states and peoples.
Kozarev expressed his gratitude for Spain’s principled position of non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of so-called “Kosovo”.
Particular attention was devoted to opportunities for further strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
Discussing preparations for the Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade, the interlocutors agreed that the event would provide a valuable opportunity to further deepen cooperation between Serbia and Spain across a range of areas of mutual interest.
